This special issue of the Journal of Analytical
Toxicology represents the 27th collaboration between the Society
of Forensic Toxicologists (SOFT) and Preston Publications. In
keeping with our organization’s tradition of promoting
and developing the field of forensic toxicology, this issue presents
current information on some of the most relevant topics to the
practice of forensic toxicology. Emerging trends and novel research
in the areas of analytical, postmortem, and human performance
toxicology, as well as case studies of particular interest to
forensic toxicologists, are included in this valuable resource.
